Trail Talk

Intro

Trail Talk is a project focused on developing a helmet-integrated communication system for dirt bike and off-road motorcycle riders. This device is designed to be mounted within the chin and mouth area of a helmet, allowing riders to communicate through seamless wireless pairing and real-time voice transmission. Unlike traditional motorcycle communication systems that are mounted externally, Trail Talk is protected within the helmet structure, reducing the risk of damage from rocks, branches, debris, and impacts encountered during off-road riding. The project emphasizes durability, rider safety, comfort, and ease of use while providing a reliable communication solution tailored specifically for the demands of trail and motocross environments.

After testing and consideration, I landed on a more general-fit curve that allowed it to rest easily in most helmets.
